I put a little flyer together for @stjohnscinema where I currently have a day job. They’re putting on another Horror Night double feature on April 25th, starting at 7:30pm!
Here's what Peter the Programmer/Projectionist has to say about this night of Horror:
"Anyone check out our Coming Soon page recently? St. Johns Horror Night returns! And like all part 6s, this promises to be the best one yet. Leading off is a classic from one of Horror’s sleazy greats, Frank Henenlotter’s (Basket Case, Brain Damage) FRANKENHOOKER! AGFA describes it as a “twisted mash-up between John Waters’ Serial Mom and Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator” and I don’t think I can come up with anything better. Easily one of the top three Frankenstein movies you’ve seen in the last six months, it’s campy, it’s gloopy, and it features an iconic performance from Patty Mullen.
And as always, make sure to stick around for our 2nd secret feature, a deep cut slasher comedy that, dare I say, is actually funny on purpose? Or maybe I’m just crazy. Either way, we’ve got a fun one for you Saturday April 25th starting at 7:30pm. WANNA DATE!?"
