Not sure if Fufucha technically counts as underappreciated, but I do feel she (along with most of my favorite Gridanian guildmasters) gets lost in later-game content, so here's Aeryn hanging out with her! Though Aeryn doesn't canonically practice botany, she does take many odd jobs from the botanists during her earliest days in Gridania and finds the guild to be a semi-stable source of side work before adventuring takes off. Aeryn enjoys learning about plants from Fufucha especially, not only because it's practical knowledge that frequently helps on her ventures, but also because Aeryn just really likes hearing others share knowledge on topics they're passionate about. Botanist or no, she would absolutely go looking for Fufucha when the latter briefly abandons her post. Fufucha's torment over her wish for pacifism in a realm at violent odds resonates strongly with Aeryn, fostering an eventual awareness of and understanding for her own feelings of discontent with the violence she has perpetuated.
