Attempt at a Emily x Euler Oneshot-Euler’s Thoughts
Euler internally groaned in pain as his body continued to repair itself together. He would never forgive Peter for doing this to him.
When he was in such pain, he would do things to distract himself. And by distract himself, think of Dickinson. Her rare smile, her sad face, and the darkness of her aura.
If something cheered him up, it was definitely Em’s happiness. Sure, she had ended up with that dull blot Pierce, but all that mattered was she had spent time with somebody she had truly loved, even if it meant the eventual breakup.
Things like that made Euler cringe in anger. Em was perfect the way she was, wasn’t she? Who was Pierce to complain, for her to change her demeanor-the dark demeanor she loved, the madness she embraced. That darkness made her beautiful-beautiful, right?
Beautiful had to be the word he had to use!? Not fantastic, amazing, or extraordinary? Because she was much more than that. Em-Em was....
Euler shook his head vigorously. Why was he even like this? Why was he so angry when Pierce complained about Emily? Sure, they were close friends. Close friends for years. She had protected him, he helped her travel. The symbiotic relationship....grew. Of course he would be mad. But no...it wasn’t the usual anger he felt when someone insulted his friends or allies. It was-
It manifested in a burning feeling in his face. Red blooms grew on his cheeks, causing Euler’s body temperature to rise and his breath to hasten. He yelled in frustration.
Euler calmed himself, taking in a deep breath through his ragged lungs.
Maybe he would talk to her about this (Though he wasn’t much of a man of feeling.). He waited for her to come back.
