Nothing has changed, nothing's the same

       scott forgot how he ended up at this party. or, who’s giant house this is. it didn’t really matter. that’s how it usually happens for him.  someone mentions a party and suddenly he’s three old fashions deep. somewhere in the blur of strangers, he seemed to have lost the people he came with.  he didn’t care to look for them. no one likes being the third wheel.  he ended up on the terrace, it was quieter there. alot less people trying to chat him up. blowing dense clouds in the air -- he wasn’t rude enough to smoke inside a strangers house.  “i don’t know where he is. if that’s what you’re about to ask. probably bathroom or something.” scott spouts, the second he sees emerald. he flicks the cigarette over the terrace railing, not really looking at the other. he’s not trying to get himself into a conversation. @emercld​

      having a lengthy knowledge of all things 80s, horror, and obscure nerd culture it’s really easy to call margo just a bit pretentious. well meaning, of course, but no less just a little more snobbish in her tastes than she’d like to admit. if she likes something modern, it’s a big compliment to the creator. and every pretentious person loves a quaint book store. every now and then she’ll take a trip to the bookstore next to the dunkin donuts, after grabbing a coffee. margo is truly a creature of habit. a frequent in this store, she felt as though she knew every hipster and sixty-something year old regular. if ever she felt comfortable approaching someone new, it’s here. “you know..lovecraft is really great and all but, if you’re looking for decent classic horror i’d go for shirley jackson.” she says with a soft smile, looking the stranger. “margo, by the way. i don’t think i’ve seen you here before.”   @emercld​

       “emmie, i want her...” adella says with a soft pout on her lips. never take adella anywhere near a pet store. even worse, never take adella anywhere near a pet rescue center. she’ll want to come home with a hundred different new pets that her roommates will probably be upset about. she couldn’t help it. caring for animals really was one of addie’s passions. though she is definitely spoiled, adella’s always put her money to good causes. like funding animal sanctuaries and shelters all over the world among other charities. after moving out of her parent’s house, adella had been so busy. too busy to care for her childhood dog who currently lives with her parents. but, now she just couldn’t resist. “should i get her? oh, she’s so sweet, i’m crying.” she just might actually cry -- her eyes are seriously welling up as the golden retriever licks her cheek.
