– ANYA KNOWS THEIR FRIENDSHIP IS PRETTY MUCH...dead and gone at this point, because if there’s any reaching out being done, it’s always on her end and she’s started to feel pretty annoying. she’ll shove down that burdensome feeling on her sister’s behalf though, she always will. she’s actually just on her way to working up the courage to see cecilia herself when she spots him going the opposite direction. “ hey, conor ! ” she wishes she was louder, her voice comes out so soft. “ um, have you...been to see her yet ? ” doesn’t even feel the need to clarify who. 

– “HEY,” WHEN SHE PULLS HIM ASIDE IN THE HALL, it’s more of an excuse to talk. or a way to break the ice. though maybe she doesn’t know the most tactful way to do so. “ did you say something to nico ? ” 

– SHE ACTUALLY HAD MEANT TO TEXT HIM OVER THE BREAK, at least...she’d thought about it a lot, but after the fiasco of a family dinner she felt too terrible to bother, certain that would be the first thing he’d ask about in their usual small talk. " hi, ” she greets when he opens the door to his room, “ are you busy ? well, busier than normal, because of course you’d be somewhat busy with finals coming up – is what i meant, but...i won’t be long, if that’s the case. ” she visibly cringes at the awkwardness of her own ramble – at least she’s self-aware.
