They won, they were going to the championships, and honestly Rosie couldn’t have been more thrilled. Her little pity party of her slip up over Thanksgiving break was well beyond her, and she was back on her regular medication....for the most part. Not on game nights, on game nights she wanted to feel everything possible, and right now she felt nothing short of euphoric. So here she was, bouncing around in the Vixen Den while the party was in full swing, drink in her perfectly manicured hand as she squeezed through the crowd.
“Excuse me....pardon me....comin’ through!” She chirped with a giggle, finishing off her drink as she tossed the empty cup into the trash. Another thing that was on her mind was this whole prom situation, something that at first she was thrilled about but then she remembered the whole date thing. Who would she invite? Hell, Alis hadn’t even been around or contacted her through Thanksgiving, so she wasn’t even sure where she stood. Knitting her brows together at the thought of the girl, a pout formed on her face as she rolled her eyes to herself. Why was she so worked up over one girl? She had suitors for days, and yet here she was throwing a mental fit over someone who was seemingly just, not interested?
But then she flashed back to their hang out at Sweeties, how Alis almost called it a date, how she called her princess and opened the door and paid for them...that was a date, right? She was so conflicted, and with a sigh, she made her way towards her room and threw open the door. Her eyes, however, landed on a figure that made a frown cross her face. Normally, Rosie was a sweet little ball of sunshine, but when her gaze fell upon Caleb...she couldn’t control her face. The memory of seeing Alis and him all curled up in each other, grabbing and kissing and being close...it made her green with envy.
“Excuse me, what the actual hell do you think you are doing in here, little boy blue?” She said with her hands coming to rest on her hips, gaze narrowing, “If you are looking for money or some ‘goodies’ I suggest you make your way up and out of my room before I personally break your wrist, mkay?” It was probably the first time anyone around here at Palmetto had heard her be so harsh, but it wasn’t like she was trying to impress him in the slightest, besides...the boy was typically too faded to even remember his own name.
