Hello everyone, I hope you're having a wonderful winter so far (or summer, if you're in the Southern Hemisphere!)

This year's @fswintersdelight theme is, along with winter, a combination of fairytales and folklore: Flights of Fancy. For this event, I have cooked up a brand new AU for the Four Swords boys set in the existing world of the role-playing game known as Blue Rose, which calls itself a game of romantic fantasy.

This first installment is meant to present some of the mechanics and the character designs I have come up with, and the second installment associated with FSWD will have a fic attached! You can see the art I did up above, and you can read more about the whole thing (and see the individual art pieces separately) on AO3 here, in a series that will update with the fic later. :)

Hello! I'm Hope, here to share my piece for Day 12 of @fswintersdelight!

For this year's theme - Flights of Fancy - I drew Blue sitting in the snow enjoying the cold weather (in an alternative reality where he overcomes his trauma of getting frozen lol)

I originally wanted to make him like some kind of ice prince, but this didn't exactly turn out in that direction. So just have a very normal looking Blue chilling in the snow. I tried to do something different than my line art style.

Happy Four Swords, everyone! For today's piece for @fswintersdelight, I took a quote from the end of the manga as they were putting the sword back into place to hand letter. The hopeful sentiment of this scene is perfect for our lovely little fandom. We will always have each other.

I'm normally a writer, not an artist, but it was fun trying to find a good quote to letter and planning the design!
