The saltiest book not-dedication I've ever read. I don't know what's going on here, but it's definitely something!

The day is nigh.

I heard the news, dear visitors, mere minutes after it dropped. I’m still in shock, to be honest. I suppose an English version was never out of the question, but talk about a bolt out of the blue....

To start, I wish to process this startling new information on my own time and terms: as such I kindly ask that all individuals who wish to make inquiry into writing or the like refrain from asking for my opinion of the North American port scheduled to begin service next month.

Going forward, I should additionally like prospective EN/first-time players who may eventually consider interacting with my person or blog be mindful of the following:

Terminology used in my work will NOT be altered to reflect the new official translation. I shall continue to use phrases like dorm leader (dorm head), vice dorm leader (vice dorm head), prefect, headmaster, etc. Any feedback submitted that takes issue with this will be ignored.

This blog will stay faithful to the game’s original text by way of my interpretations as an individual with knowledge of the Japanese language. Until the new official translation has proven itself accurate and reliable, I will draw upon the Japanese version in forming opinions and shaping my understanding of canon.
