Does he deserve this? Maybe. Probably. Sneezy would argue that he does. The cricket shouts with alarm and jumps when something descends from the bush he’s crouched under and snaps at him - half a moment of panic later and he realized it’s a beak, long and pointed and oh stars he’s too young to die like this. He shouts again before it can go in for another attack.
