So bird time in the basement for the foreseeable future unless she’s completely out of the house because apparently clear communication was not enough for her to Not Open Her Cat Door During Bird Time
Thankfully my ass trains my birds so I was able to just restrain and leave. The cat did not get out of the room and I had full control over /my/ animals. but that damn door should NOT have ever been opened. Consistent schedule. Clearly communicated. Same time every day. Alexa goes off loudly to notify start and end times. I TEXT every single day for start and end.
There’s simply no excuse for that carelessness this time.
