ok honest to god i cannot find the post i rbed that this refers to so instead i am going to give some fun vague facts about the shrikescream 'story' that i have been developing at the pace of a snail
- i wanna put heavy focus on water symbolism and imagery especially when it comes to frigidwater.... like ok obviously because of her name but also because it'd foreshadow Later Events (tm)
- on the other side of that ive toyed with associating either shrikescream or hopspring/star with fire? just for more sexy symbolism
- if i were to write this out like a super edition or something i'd probably name it Shrikestar's Choice or Shrikestar's Mistake or something. but if it wasnt like a super edition maybe something like Twin Stars or Dimmed Stars. or Drowned Stars. yeah
- idk what else to say lol i havent put my full focus on shrike and frigid in a hot minute but id like to.... wanna put more nuance and stuff in it and make the timeline much more gradual than what i have written for her backstory in redemption lol

🏅 - what is your character’s reputation within their clan? what about the other clans? is your character popular?
hmm,, kinda changes through the story ig! at the point in time i usually reference for the story she's well-liked enough. she's pretty respected as a strong fighter, but though they're much less vocal than they used to be, there are still those that see her as lesser for being half-clan. she's known as a senior warrior of windclan to other clans, but she's nothing of legend or anything (though again, others may know she was born in riverclan). socially, she's got friends, but she's not popular. she and shrikescream mainly stick together.
🌪 - what was your character’s most traumatic experience?
definitely her first few moons of life, living in riverclan. she had to watch her parent get exiled as soon as she was weaned, there was constant tension in the camp because of how cruel and erratic foxstar was, and her foster mother viewed her with disdain for being half-clan. her half-brother snowkit liked her well enough, but snowkit's father viewed her as the thing that tore his family apart and though he tried to act as a father figure for her, it was pretty obvious he didn't love her the same as he did snowkit. then, he died, and at a young age she had to travel to an entirely new clan and find a new life there.
👔 - what would your character look like as a human? what sense of style would they have?
i actually have a picrew of what she'd look like! she'd have a more masc sense of style, and usually dresses at least somewhat formally (dress shirts/slacks/etc.). not sure about a surname, but her name would be friday!

38. Is your character more likely to remove a problem/threat, or remove themselves from a problem/threat?
Frigidwater is definitely more likely to remove the problem or threat. When it comes to violence she never shies away and is definitely considered a bold, offensive warrior by her clanmates. For problems with lower stakes, she still is more likely to be the one to confront it and figure out how to resolve the problem. She is very confrontational in that sense, even if it’s not always obvious.
22. What does your character like in other people?
Frigidwater likes when cats mind their own business. She’s not the most social and would prefer to be the one to control her social interactions, so cats that keep to themselves are good in her book. She respects intelligence in other cats, as well as power (in both the physical and hierarchical sense), though, again, this is more akin to respect than liking. And, because she is the way she is, she tends to like insecurity in others. She likes when she knows she is the one with power in the relationship, knowing she can make the other cat feel whatever she wants them to with just a few words.
23. What does your character dislike in other people?
Frigidwater hates when cats are too loud, too eager, and too talkative, especially about meaningless things like the weather or how the prey is running. She cannot stand idle gossip. She especially hates cats who ask her too many questions about herself, who try to know her, especially when she has no interest in knowing them. She’s never been a fan of the superstitious or cats who uphold the code way too seriously. She also hates arrogance in other cats, especially if that comes with a lot of boasting and looking down on others.
19. What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?
Frigidwater’s biggest flaw in interacting with others is that she feels the immense need to be in control at most times. She usually seeks out building relationships with some sort of skewed power dynamic in her favor, even if it’s subtle. If one doesn’t exist, she will attempt to manipulate one into existence by trying to foster a cat’s dependency on her, making them feel like she’s the only one they can rely on. This has definitely destroyed relationships in the past. Sometimes, Frigidwater will misjudge someone’s character, or she is less subtle with the emotional manipulation than she ought to be, and the cat will cut all ties. This is the reason much of her Clan is somewhat uneasy around her, even if not everyone can quite place why.
