Meet Vanessa Long from University at Albany DPhiL. She will be doing study abroad in Korea this summer and needs your help! "Before I joined Delta Phi Lambda, I was suffering from depression and contemplated many things regarding my life. However, when I became a sister, I realized that I had parents who loved me and gained a Big Sister that to this day remains a role model to me. I became very hardworking and pushed my limits above and beyond what I thought I was ever capable of. Whenever I thought that I was at the breaking point, I always managed to overcome it and grow by remembering the virtues of the Sorority. From programs and workshops to volunteering and more, never have I been so involved on campus, until joining the Sisterhood. Delta Phi Lambda has provided me a place to be someone who I want to be without fear of being judged. I am proud to say that I have become a truly daring, determined, and Dedicated Female Leader. I became a person that I have never thought I would be and it was for the better. I am so proud to have joined this Everlasting Sisterhood."
