@willofcausality is thinking about kicking someone’s ass.
'Hajime has been very kind to me.' Gundham throws nuts at the two squirrels in the grass, watching them scamper around to gather up the food. He hands the package to Peko so she can feed them too. 'Would it be poor repayment to want to punch him in the face??' He's only half joking. For all of his strength and talk, he never used to be a violent person. Fighting was only for self-defense. But that was before Junko, and now it seems as though his fists are always itching to strike someone. Especially when that someone is treating one of his friends like garbage.
Days like these have become some of Peko’s favorites. Gundham’s company is a great comfort - not only that, he’s happily taught her to interact with the animals around the island. It’s been quite the stress relief to play with and even pet some of them.
Of course, they’ve made their way up to the clearing after another... unfortunate incident with Hajime and Nagito. Both of them needed time to compose themselves - though until now, neither has acknowledged it.
“Since the tragedy, I have sworn myself away from metal blades. But he is making them rather tempting again. Or, perhaps it would be more satisfying to draw things out with the bamboo.” The sword she carries now isn’t sharpened - a blunt instrument to keep up her training for some semblance of normalcy through this recovery. Much like Gundham, she hasn’t been able to fully shake the violent impulses following the tragedy. It’s yet another thing they’ve bonded over in the quiet time spent together.
“But quite the opposite, Tanaka-san.” She muses, giving one of the squirrels a rub between the ears. “It would do him a favor, I think. Something needs to knock sense into him.”
