Even the butch lesbians subreddit is now full of constant talk about identity and comments like "you totes don't have to choose just man or woman :) :)" or "maybe you're just agender, nonbinary, etc" (non-woman) and it's so exhausting. UGHHHHHHHH. Its so alienating, every time a butch dyke or a fem gay is in an LGBT*QIAXYZ+ space, everyone bombards them with gender shit. Post a pic, “oh what’s your gender ID?” [bc youre GNC] Go to a Queer event “oh whats your pronouns?” [bc you’re fucking butch]
Like, if you’re gender non conforming, you broke gender. A traditional conservative would combat this by trying to make the person conform to whats expected from their sex. Radikweers combat this by trying to pathologize your ~gender expression~ thereby transing away your homosexuality. “You’re not a feminine woman so you’re not a woman” did everyone forget the 80-90s when gay rights activists were trying to show the world that gay men were still men and lesbians were still women? Does no one see this is homosexual erasure ???
Don’t let anyone try to trans away who you are. If you’re a boy who likes makeup and dresses fem, be proud. If you’re naturally feminine, that doesnt make you less of a man. You are beautiful, I promise.
Be the badass butch you naturally are. Be proud if you’re a tough a nails dyke. You are the diversity that makes womanhood amazing.
