Frequency AU| When Laurel was 15 and Sara near 14, their father (presumed to be a corrupt cop) was killed in the line of duty. Her mother moved their family near her parents in Central City. Laurel and Sara went to the same support group as the foster son of cop Joe West, and met West’s family, including his daughter Iris who Laurel soon fell in love with. Laurel ultimately found herself in becoming a cop and then detective, and worked as Joe’s partner, whereas Sara enjoys her life as a bartender. Laurel proposes to Iris, while Sara flits from relationship to relationship (the newest one’s Kendra). But one day, while Laurel and Sara are on the old ham radio in the garage, they connect with their dad. Realizing that he is not corrupt, they manage to save him, but their mother goes missing in the past. Now they live in a timeline where they never moved to Central City. Laurel grew up to be a lawyer and Sara’s the cop with a newly minted fiancée named Nyssa. Laurel has lost every constant in her life and turns to drinking, while Sara must navigate her relationship and her undercover assignment to catch the serial killer abducting nurses. Now they have to figure out how to remedy things, and keep the multitude of people in their life safe throughout the timeline.
