I may be reaching here, or maybe triangles are just to be expected when there are three mains, but I feel like this backdoor pilot really utilized star motifs. Obviously, we have Laurel mentioning a “gold star” for Dinah. But there’s the title card, with two canaries on either side of an arrowhead, that looks like a star to me. I feel like when the ladies dropped in upside down, the interior was definitely star shaped. And while the motorcycles and explosion are too haphazard to really be a defined shape, I still feel like I’m looking at star-shapes.
