My mother's insisting I get rid of these posters I've had since college. In my defense, some might consider it a rite-of-passage to pick up poster art from street vendors on your backpacking trip to Europe. And further more, it was hard to pass up a series of high profile ads featuring Black women….I remember refusing to get caught up in feeling objectified as a Black person and as woman. They were beautiful so I bought them all.
