today is the first time I was able to buy my own album in a store. You can really just walk into any "Saturn" or "Media Markt" in Austria and buy this fucking CD we were working on since fall 2014. This is so awesome, I can't even describe how proud I am 😍

Today is a very special day to me. Back when I was about 10 to 14 years old I was listening every Friday evening to the top 40 single charts show on the local radio station. Every Friday for the whole 3hours. I eventually recorded the songs I liked and was waiting for my favorite songs. Today, 16 years later, the band I play in is ranked #23 in those charts. Its been 11 years playing in various bands until I joined my brothers in Freiraum5 3 years ago. We really worked out asses off, some of us - me included - being seriously broke for over a year as we put everything we had into the band and the recording of our album. Don't mean to brag about this, but I am really proud and thankful of how far we got by now and I try to imagine how proud my 14 year old self would be, finding himself in that fucking show he's been listening to every week. And I wonder if there's some kid like me back then listening to my band on radio this evening. Thank you.
