This is the first time in years that I haven't been involved in some way, romantically or otherwise with any sort of sweetie/boo/boi/grl, and its making me feel like a secret jungle bird. I also have the flu so it might be the immense amounts of medicine in my body, or the first rilo kiley album in my headphones, or my best friend from childhood about to have a baby, but I feel like a thousand birds. I've been reading, writing, waking up at night to dream out loud, hiding, drinking, learning how to cook meals to make me all warm and fat this winter. My cat has a personality, and I have a pattern of selfishness and ignorance towards the people who pretend and lie and tell me that they are in love with me. Huzzah! I'm on a brink.
