so, maybeĀ stopping on his way to work to rescue a kitten wasnāt his most logicalĀ plan. however, when heād seen the tiny kitten curled up behind the dumpster on his way, he hadnāt been able to stop himself from coming to a halt as he spent the next twenty minutes earning enough trust to pick him up. originally, heād only wanted to save the little thing, the size of it making it apparent that it hadnāt eaten in a while, but he hadnāt considered what to do once he hadĀ it. he couldnāt have pets in his own apartment, after all. but, just as he began wondering what he was going to do, he felt someoneās shoulder gently brush him as they walked by him and he turned to start a conversation quickly before they were gone.Ā
ā okay, I knowĀ this is going to sound crazy. ā he started his conversation carefully, words leaving his lips slow as he pieced together his argument one word at a time.Ā ā but you wouldnāt happen to be interested in a kitten, would you? ā and then, before they could protest, he threw any resemblance of a plan out the window as he began rambling to fill the silence instead.Ā ā I only found him a moment ago, so I canāt reallyĀ guarantee anything, but he seems very sweet. ā offering a sweet smile of his own, he began searching their features for any sign as to whether or not his sales pitch was working.Ā ā and heās free. ā he added as an afterthought, as if that fact wasnāt already abundantly clear by the fact that he was currently arguing for his adoption.Ā ā and youād be doing a very kind thing by giving a very sweet boy a good home? āĀ
