Tommy developing some manipulative tendencies as well after his time with Dream, seeing that he gained Ranboo's trust, end up manipulating that trust into getting him to side with him. Maybe he could even steal the Memory Book and rewrite some entries in an attempt to make him more loyal to him.

Bonus if it is revealed he is doing this to fill the hole Tubbo left, finding Ranboo to be a replacement :)

Either way, there might be a struggle with Ranboo being tempted to join Tommy while also trying to get Tommy to shake off Dream's own control over him.

I mean we alredy established that Tommy mimicks people he likes/respects (and that’s one of my reasons for him being in the mask in Protégé AU).

So it wouldn’t be too out of character to take on Dream’s manipulation tactics and use them on someone else. Especially because that’s what his best friend Dream did to him - which in Tommy’s mind equates to showing you are a good friend.

Seeing how truly mentally weak was Ranboo in that moment, and knowing that Ranboo, at his own admittance, “has no moral backbone”, manipulating him would be easy and Tommy wouldn’t feel wrong doing it, because that’s his new understanding of how true friendship works.

And Ranboo is friendly to Tommy also, so he would go along with it for Tommy’s sake, even if he knew something was wrong.

1. Maybe Dream willingly changed him in an effort to physically "fix" him? I'd imagine that like how we saw the Dreamon arc, dreamons have the tendency to be playful and destructively chaotic, so I thought maybe Dream was betting on Tommy becoming like that which only backfired like a lot of Dream's ideas it seems lol.

2. This is for the Recovery Arc, but now that Tommy is living with Tubbo a DREAMON HUNTER, Tubbo asks Tommy if he can attempt to change him back to himself, to which Tommy agreed. So Tubbo, using his knowledge, began his exorcism when... Wait, this isn't right. The Dreamon should be banished, why is Tommy getting hurt? Oh no- Oh no no no NO! And Tubbo calls it off, Tommy collapsing, the both of them realizing oh no-

He's not possesed, no, Tommy IS a Dreamon, and, there's nothing they can do about it.

Both are fiery and boisterous, starting wars on the server cause fun. Both were manipulated at one point by Dream. Except, Tommy was taken and forced to be loyal to Dream while the still loyal Sapnap was just abandoned by somebody he deemed his best friend.

In this essay, they are like brothers your honor-

To clarify, by Soft Ending he meant something like how Jesse in Breaking Bad never had a definitive ending point but it's still satisfying despite leaving it open where he goes from there. According to Tommy, his character is gonna have that hopping off point, but he will still be around the server for bits and stuff. But should people chose they can take that ending as the final part of Tommy's story the same way some folks consider C!Wilbur's story to have ended after dying in Season 1.

Wilbur said it is a Canon Divergent AU now cause of... you know lol

But just bullshit saying he survived or only lost his 2nd life and we're golden! It fits so perfectly with current Prison lore and I just don't want to sacrifice Techno and Tubbo reconciliation over closure for Revivedbur, please don't make me choose lol :,)
