There are very few ways I can put into words how important Sarah is to me as a friend. I've said time and time again, but my life would be so far from what it is right now without Sarah. There are countless people I would never have met without her, some of whom are now very close friends who I can scarcely picture my life without. There are countless things, from movies, to games, to entire series of things I might have skimmed over without Sarah, and some of those have shaped who I am, how I write, what I love, all the things that are important to me.

Sarah is the first real friend I made outside of my country. Sarah is the first real friend I met online. Sarah was my first real friend, whom I have never been able to meet in person.

I don't know if I'll ever find a way that I feel does justice to how much Sarah means to me, both simply as herself, and as a gateway to so much more.

But I do know this: Sarah's happiness means just as much to me, if not more.

And I know this: This year, and these past six months, have carried some of the happiest moments I've seen Sarah have.

And by that I mean I'm fairly sure she either got way too much sunlight, or she got the shit embarrassed out of her a hundred times by someone she loves. (In a good way)

This brings us to Emily.

It's weird to think I've known Emily less than a year; I can't really remember exactly how I met her, it was such a blur but I just remember getting along with her incredibly well incredibly quickly.

Emily is a treasure. I mean that in a thousand different ways. I've seen Emily go through some pretty damn rough times, and I know she's helped me through my fair share of things - and though they might not compare in scale, her help and support with them meant worlds to me.

Emily is incredible. She is one of the most loving, genuinely kind, selfless, stupid, and fun people I know. No matter how many times she might run over my sorry spartan ass with a ghost, I'll always forgive her the moment I hear that cheeky "Hehehe" that follows.

If there's anyone I know who deserves to be happy more than Emily, I honestly can't think of them.

Of course it's not easy to tell how accurate I am watching from the outside, but from what I've seen, near every day these two have been together, they've been brightening each others' worlds. (Literally in Sarah's case, her face glows like Rudolph's nose.)

Emily and Sarah are two incredible friends, both to me and to each other, and nothing has made me happier as of late than seeing how happy they make each other.

I'll always owe Emily for the happiness she's brought Sarah.

And I'll always owe Sarah because this one time she showed me how to reblog posts from myself.

Oh, and because she makes Emily happy too.

But in all seriousness, I'm incredibly happy for the two of you, and no matter where anything goes from here on out, always know this.

You are some of the best friends, the best people, I've ever met. You're kind and caring, considerate and patient, fun and ridiculous, loving and accepting. You are my friends, and seeing you happy will always inspire happiness in me.

No matter how time might change us, and how far apart me may, or may not, be, there's always a place we can all call home where we're waiting for each other.

I love you.
