+ 'fred davies' (and others?)
Bars (and their surrounding areas) were naturally spawn points of controversy. Alcohol and late night blues rarely equaled peaceful conflict resolutions. Rosario had his fair share of drunken fist fights, but had avoided one on this particular evening. Everything, for the most part, seemed calm as he headed home for the night.
The peace was abruptly cut off by a conflict in his path. Something about a guitar and some money and--
It didn't matter when that guy pushed the kid and went to hit him again. Protector mode in full effect, Rosario stepped in front of the freckled young man and stared the attacker down.
"Leave him be." Or else hung in the air, and the obviously drunken man didn't seem too inclined to fight when he was up against a towering wall of experienced muscle.
Once the other man stumbled out of sight, Rosario sighed and turned to look at the stranger he had defended.
"... Did he hurt you?"
