The writer Frederick Rolfe, a.k.a. Baron Corvo, ca. 1889, around the time he joined the Pontifical Scots College. He was expelled from the seminary four months after his arrival, having to be forcibly removed by a group of servants, "mattress, blanket and all", when he refused to leave.
