It was quiet at the restaurant, which wasn’t surprising for this time of day, the people of Providence Peak most likely enjoying the sunshine and grazing on picnic foods, probably opting for something heavier once the temperature began to drop. Needing to escape the heat of the kitchen, especially since his team were more capable of prepping for the dinner rush without him watching over them, Albie headed to the front of house, chef’s coat hung back up in the kitchen, enjoying the coolness of the bar area, aimlessly chatting with servers and bartenders as they passed his path, when a man at the bar caught his eye. Though he had never met him before, Albie could just about recognise the man as Freddie Crane, the recognition stemming from late night sleuthing of the Crane Brothers on social media, after the awkward encounter with Nathan and Lorelai that day. Albie didn’t find much, whether it was because they knew better than to post anything, or because he was an amateur in the Instagram stalking department, but recognised the face at the bar from some post the official distillery page posted not too long ago. A part of him warned him to not approach him, since he doubted he’d learn anything more about Nathan (and if he did, it would definitely get back to him), but he made his way over despite the silent protests. “Hey, man. Anything I can do for you?”
