You receive a voicemail from Chum-Lee. It sounds as if he's in a crowded location with live music playing
"Awol Might, I have an update on our current recruiting situation..."
a feminine voice is heard in the background, but it's not clear what's being said yet. You can hear Chum-Lee's voice, and, although he usually sounds that way, the man is obviously a bit tipsy.
"It turns out, ehh, master Nemoto... ehem, MASTER NEMOTO WILL NOT JOIN US AS HE IS VERY SICK, YES, HE HAS THE FLU, A VERY STRONG FLU! HE SAID RELUCTANTLY THAT HE CANNOT JOIN THE FREAKBUGS!"
The other voice is now clearly heard
"Freakbugs? Is that your gang? Sounds manly... would you like for us to poor you another drink sir?
"Errh, yes, of course! And one for you too my love... IF YOU DARE!"
The voicemail ends there. It sounds like he's at some sort of club.
awol-might finishes listening to the voicemail, and wishes he were there partying with Chum-Lee, but also knows he's better off away from alcohol. he also feels a sense of dread that people aren't joining the freakbugs, and wonders what he's doing wrong.
"is it me? should i give up?"..."no. i can still make this work." he decides he simply needs more determination.
