I started working on my old stories again... if anyone remember Carnivorous City, it's back.

i, like a good ole nerd that i am, spontaneously decided i will start rereading percy jackson right now. and so i bend down and open my cupboard to pick up the book. what do i see?

i see some kind of crusty edge on the side by the pages. immediately disgusted i bolt to the kitchen and flake it off (ew omg) and then i flick through the book and see a white worm, A BOOK WORM, i freak and shake it off in the bin. then i clear my shelf and wipe it down. i open one of the other books and i see holes tunnelling through the pages.

at this point i am horrified. as i keep going the holes get bigger and bigger and bigger and it just keeps going. then the holes get smaller and smaller and i see MORE WORMS and im too grossed out to do anything other than shake them off into the bin. i kept one and complained to my father, on the verge of tears mind u.

one of my favourite series in book form and buying them wasnt cheap, i would be in shock.

i check and double check the rest of my books and sigh with relief all praise is due to GOD! so besides that one book, no more worms and big holes!! 😭 now i can escape reality in peace and content shukr
