Your art makes me wanna draw again
DOITDOITDOIT
I actually quit art between the ages of 17 and 26 because I was trying to follow a normal career path which didn't leave any time for art. It reached a point where I forgot I had ever even reached a commissionable level of art skill and it seemed like I'd just grown out of being an artist.
But then while bored at a dead end office job I started working on DBY in 2018 and got a brain bug and /had/ to draw again for it.
And my art was really bad for a like a year or so because I decided I wanted to completely change my style and had to remember how to even do anything (and I also still wasn't particularly advanced when I'd quit at 17 so I still had a ton of foundationals to learn)
But since I had this brain bug, I kept drawing anyway and the more I did it the easier it got, and the more addicting it became. Things still often don't come out exactly the way I hope and I keep having to learn endlessly (which is one of my favorite things about drawing- it's a never ending puzzle) but I can mostly put on the page what I see in my head now.
AND IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU!!! There's no upper age limit to art. It's never too late to start and it's never gone when you put it down.
