I was watching Monster in Paris (for the umpteenth time) and I remembered the time I tried to recommend it to a "friend," and it was something like, "Look, this is my favorite movie, you should see it. It's really cute and has great music."
My friend, who only saw the promotional poster, said, "It looks like one of those cheap indie movies."
Me in silence really offended: "...your mom is cheap" (of course, I didn't tell him that, but I thought it XD).
Anyway, due to life circumstances (mostly because he was one of those who thought he was better than everyone else), he stopped being my friend.
(Anyway, why would you say that to someone who's just trying to share something they love with you? I guess because he was an idiot.)
