And now I'm thinking about how Mac Finds His Pride comes next, with the "let the blood flow" metaphor.
They love making Danny do gross shit and it's always in character for Frank to be disgusting ofc. I'm sure there are some more examples throughout the show of the injuries being significant... But the juxtaposition of these two episodes seems significant and funny to me.
And of course in both of these examples, Mac is right there and heavily involved in that part of the story.
I'm not a huge BSG fan but they really cooked with that swear replacement. Frack isn't just the best sci-fi swear to date but arguably better than fuck.
