i did @frillshark-fr‘s statistics spreadsheet again! it was fun to do! As a whole, things are still basically the same as last year haha, just about 100 more dragons fdsfsd

Turns out I have a ton of ice dragons for some reason?? I don't know how that happened.

Here is the data from the Lair Locations Survey! I did some screwing around with it mostly for fun, but the stats are very interesting if you’d like to take a look. Most of it is population density and distribution numbers, but there’s a lot of rounding involved.

For those who answered other on the survey: I sorted all “other” answers into a category. Look at sheet four in this doc to see where you got sorted. There’s a link to change your classification there if you feel its wrong.

the fact that ive been keeping a spreadsheet of my dragons on my laptop finally came in handy for something :D

UNFORTUNATELY rollover won’t let me scry my statistically average dragon, but it’s an Obs/White/White Iri/Shim/Underbelly Common Wind F Tundra!

but yeah this is basically what i expected, but it’s fun to see my lair diversity laid out! My intention has always been to keep my poses even but I’ve never quite been able to achieve equilibrium,,

I didn’t realize that my recent Bogsneak splurging caused them to overtake coatls! I love Bogs so this is good c: i would like more coatls anyway though! also I clearly need more snappers. (and more tundras of course.) (i do actually have a 22nd tundra, but i didnt count her cuz I haven’t named her yet dsafadsf)

I need more Earth dragons, gotta keep my eyes peeled I guess haha. Didn’t realize Nature was already competing with ice for the #2 most common element. no one will ever surpass wind tho >:D

And woo my genes! the only modern gene i need is veined! as for ancients, I need Shardflank, Scorpion, and every single banescale gene dsadsf

I needed some distraction again, like I did 10 months ago. Here are some updated numbers about exalted VS active dragons! Numbers were taken on 10.10.16, at about 05:30 server time.

76.34% of all Flight Rising dragons are exalted.

Faes - 79.85% exalted Guardians - 80.13% exalted Mirrors - 80.51% exalted Tundras - 80.55% exalted Pearlcatchers - 79.59% exalted Ridgebacks - 80.31% exalted Snappers - 79.97% exalted Spirals - 79.09% exalted Skydancers - 75.45% exalted Imperials - 71.15% exalted Nocturnes - 68.20% exalted Wildclaws - 64.00% exalted Coatls - 63.80% exalted Bogsneaks - 0.68% exalted (93 in total)

So I needed a little distraction and did some magic with the “Exalted/Active” option in the dragon search. Here are some numbers I got:

73.9% of all Flight Rising dragons are exalted.

It’d be a spreadsheet and I’d have to edit it constantly, but I’m considering making one because of all of the either outrageous or just silly/mistaken prices on really common items.

I’m thinking of going with a simple formula. Something like “Item Base Sell price + Rarity( or Effort to get it) = Wholesale x2 = Retail. Or something.
