Seems like a common complaint about New Marathon is that Bungie's typical long time to kill doesn't mesh well with an Extraction Shooter gameplay loop. In Tarkov if you're alone you can shoot three guys if you're quick enough on the draw, but in Marathon you kind of need a full squad in order to have sufficient volume of fire to wear down the opposing full squad.

God I love V2 Ultrakill. It’s your perfect double, the second of your prototype line. It’s got it’s own bassy theme and themed levels and sassy intros.
It also has zero impact on the story. It shows up and you kick its ass so hard it’s arm falls off. After the actual plot of the game starts unfolding it shows up again and you launch it off a pyramid.
It’s your ultimate rival and you forcibly eject it from the plot well before the halfway mark.
