Weekly Round Up: August 30th- September 3rd
With such a tumultuous weekend in our region, its hard to believe school is beginning in so many parts of the country. We hope everyone is staying safe, and for those who are affected by the storm, please know our thoughts are with you.
August 30th: Austin, TX-- An Aural Lit event featuring readings from poets Sequoia Maner, Amanda Johnston, Tina Posner, Gloria Amescua & Jesus Valles at 7pm at the Terrazas Branch of Austin Public Library.
September 1st: San Marcos, TX- “Standing Call: A Community Gathering for Judge Garcia’s SB4 Ruling” is happening at the San Marcos Courthouse from 7 - 9 p.m.
September 2nd: Washington, D.C.-- The Library of Congress’ National Book Festival. It is a free event. Go see more than 100 authors!
