Ace would likely be another one of those beastmen who puts on an (attempted) aloof act, acting like he's doing you some great favor by deciding to let you pet him as if your gentle caresses and scritches behind his soft, fuzzy ears were merely tolerable at best. But the way he can't help but lean into your touch, eyes fluttering shut in bliss as a very fox-sounding whine leaves his chest, betrays how much he's actually loving every second of it.
When he settles his head into your lap, nuzzling his face against your thigh while you stroke his silky fur, there's no denying the utter contentment radiating from him. Still, he'd never admit out loud how amazing your affection feels, stubbornly clinging to the façade that he's only putting up with all this petting and snuggling for your sake.
Ace is also definitely the type to use his fluffy fur to distract you, especially if you're mad at him for some reason or he's trying to convince you to let him stay over for the night after he causes issues at his dorm.
He'll give you those fox puppy dog eyes and nuzzle up against you with his soft, silky coat. Come on, don't you wanna let him stay...and sleep in your bed with you? His fur will keep you warm. Cuddling and sweet-talking you until your resolve melts and you simply can't say no to that adorable, persuasive ball of fur.
