Hey!  I know I said I’d be back with the turtle & fox, but life got in the way and I at least have the fox fully done.  So here she is! Marinette as the fox, or as I like to call her, Huli Jing!

I originally decided to give her a hood when I didn’t know what to do for her tail. I had contemplated on a tailcoat esk design and have her ponytail be a third tail, but I couldn’t get it to look like Marinette.  Eventually, I decided on the cloak because foxes are meant to be sneaky and lurk around in the shadows so their illusions work. So with a hood and the cloak as her tail, I was set. 

The rest of the bodysuit was pretty easy, place some white on her torso and give her black gloves/boots. I decided to make the cloak black too so she’d blend in better with those shadows she likes to lurk in. 

Since there isn’t a design to gripe about here I don’t have to explain what I changed and for what reason, but I still believe should Marinette wield the fox on its own for whatever reason her suit design is going to be lax and look like it’s just painted on with a sash or (like they did with Lady Noire) Do something with her hair (a ponytail for instance)  It’s pretty sad too since Marinette is a fashion designer and now knows what she’s getting into she can come up with some better suit designs (Lady Noire is better than her normal suit, but like after she accepted becoming Ladybug she could’ve had a suit change to how her change of heart. Throw in a few puns from Chat and you’d have been good. It’d be poetic cinema.) 

Also, that flute took me forever to get right. Her hands took even longer. It was why I decided on using DollDesign poses I made to better get the poses I wanted. Of course, I had to fiddle with the program so the arm didn’t go through her, but that’s griping for another day.
