Reminder for all you artists out there
Don’t ever, EVER give up when thinking your art isn’t good enough.
It IS! All it needs is some time to develop and grow, you AND your art:
Example:
Drawing I made in 2014/2015 or somewhere like that, where my group of friends were really into LARP and stuff and I decided to make it a story. (that I’m still working on, btw)
This was, when I worked on it, my fucking masterpiece, and yet I looked at all the other art people were making (mostly with computers, which I couldn’t) and I got so fucking jealous and upset that I considered stopping drawing altogether. But that’s not the option.
We have to keep striving, keep pushing, and keep doing our shit.
Of course you can see here, it’s all derpy and such, cartoonish and unrealistic and whatnot, but that DOESN’T matter because everyone has to start somewhere, right? It can only get better from here.
LOOK,
Same story, same characters, three/four years difference, slightly different style and VERY different positions!
It’s still far from perfect but WOW the difference between THIS one and the previous one is tremendous!
Both are still fucking made on paper and with pencil, and the camera-work is crap, but it’s still made with LOVE, and CARE, and PASSION and BELIEVING that EVERY SINGLE DRAWING helps us improve in many ways.
I hope this helps y’all. We’re all still improving each other and our art, each and every scribble brings us closer to what we want it to look like. I don’t know why I explained it so fiercely but I guess sometimes that’s the only way.
In the end, it’s all for good fun :) And as long as it helps us go on, artists will always continue to be better.
Thank you for listening to this rant, more at 8 XD
I love all you honeys.
