I think this one is well known ship in LC fandom. Who'd guess that people will start shipping butterfly man and devil man?

Bullets and butterflies (Der Freischütz + Funeral of the Dead Butterflies headcanons)

•They probably meet during some break hours when Funeral decided to explore the facility abit. Since. Well. Not really alot of employees are friendly to most abnormalities that are out of their rooms

•Der Frei is a man of a few words. He didnt start any sort of conversation with our mr. Butterfly

•probably at first didnt like him either because Funeral was trying to show some affection to Der Freischütz through hugging and simply even putting his hand on his shoulder. Der Frei isnt really into it. He <at first> doesnt like it

•altho this one butterfly with coffin really got him interested. He doesnt leave his room so learning that there are possibly other abnormalities that can keep him company is.. actually amusing. So, maybe Der Frei shouldnt shoot butterfly...yet

•outta these 2, Funeral will be the one to be cuddly and nice. Perhaps even trying to get our sniper-devil outta his room to look around. Funeral tells Der Frei about what he had seen and where he had been, what people and monsters he met. Its really amusing Der Frei how diffrent other departments are and how big this whole facility is

•eventually, Der Freischütz will decide to leave his room to walk around with butterfly-man, listening to what 'adventures' he had around the facility and maybe even start traveling around it as well

•Der Frei is more so protective. Any sort of danger will be having a hole in its head. Funeral would rather to put them in his coffin with his butteflies, but he is too happy to tell Der Frei to not shoot someone. Its just nice to have someone protecting you

•they really try to avoid agents and sephiras on their way. The last thing they need is to get into a fight with like 10 Aleph-equiped people or alot of newbies that will make a huge mess should Der Frei shoot them. If they meet one but they wont do anything to hurt either of them, then they will just go away, why starting a fight they will probably loose, when they can just get to their safe-rooms

•at one point Funeral wanted to try using rifle, but using it with 3 arms is not really comfy and he hadnt use any guns. It will probably shacke the butterfly wings on his head from shooting once if not getting hit from the knockback. So Der Frei decided to maybe teach him another day once Funeral learns about some... more simple guns. Yeah. Pistols... or something "just not my rifle, it will knock the butterflies out of your head"

•will probably try to get to know other abnormalities. So far, they probably know Magical Girls, Red Mercenary, Wolf, Silent Orchestria and Schadenfreude. A pretty nice group to chat with

•after a very long time it will be Der Frei, for the first time, put his arm around Funeral's shoulders. He could swear he heard butterfly laughing silently over it. But he only looked away in a somewhat embarrassment. Been a while since he did it, ok?
