Atp I'm obsessed with parallels the same way Targaryens are obsessed with dragons. All people Dunk's met till now kinda remind me one face of the Seven:
LYONEL: He says "The Seven above gave you tallness, so be tall!". It reminds me of the "Never forget who you are, because the world will not" line, after that, Dunk starts presenting himself as "Ser Duncan the tall". Lyonel gave him confidence.
ARLAN: The mentor who teachs him through tough love. His first test on how he would rather see the world, Dunk remembers Arlan hitting him, but he also remembers him fondly and all the good times they were together, and above all else, how Arlan kept riding and singing despite his wound. Arlan gave him a sense of self, of how he chooses to see the world even if his view clashes with the world's reality.
RAYMUN: maybe Dunk sees him as a mirror of himself. The squire who aspires to be a knight in spite of his role model being a running joke as a knight (Raymun's sole role model was Steffon, until Dunk arrives and this role is replaced by Dunk). Raymun gave him a chance to lead by example, he showed him a glimpse of hope that there are still true knights in Westeros, even if they're not ripe yet.
EGG: Egg gave him a family again when Arlan was no more. Not to mention the connections to help him at the Trial.
THE BLACKSMITH: No random blacksmith would have trusted a delulu hedge knight, the guy even mocks Dunk the first time he sees him, but the second time he genuinely offered an affordable price for a brand new shield. Because he saw Dunk was a knight who remembred his vows. Through it, he offered him the symbolical blessing and protection of the smallfolk.
TANSELLE: his dulcinea, his beatrice. While the Blacksmith forged the shield, Tanselle was the responsible to turn the intangible description of the sigil into the sigil we saw in E4. The one who materializes all elements of his identity when she paints his shield.
BAELOR: Even if they're not friends (and Dunk doesn't even expect them to be), Baelor rules with justice, with honor, the one who acts like a true knight even after Dunk sees so many examples of dishonorable knights around him. Althought I'm more convinced it was a PR move instead of genuine kindness, it doesn't change the fact that probably Dunk thought it was very honorable of Baelor to vouch for him.
Seven people; Seven faces of the God.
LYONEL: Stranger*
BLACKSMITH: Smith
TANSELLE: Mother
BAELOR: Father
EGG: Maiden
RAYMUN: Warrior
ARLAN: Crone
*"in every man there are many men" just like the Stranger has more than one way of being depicted, it's the only face who is depicted with animalistic features
