One of our fosters had a ruptured abscess yesterday, so they went to the shelter overnight to wait for the vet today. They have FeLV - a virus that acts like leukemia [explains what happened to poor little Soïg]. Now they're going to a medical foster before hopefully recovering enough to go to a rescue.
Besides their abscesses and arthritis, Sabine and Lucien seem fine (i.e. stronger), so they'll likely survive to be carriers.
