Today is our middle kiddo’s (little brother) birthday! He’s 4 years old, which is wild to think about because he was only 2 1/2 when he and his brother and sister came to live with us. Right now he loves to grab and hold and carry around pretty much everything, he likes to learn and picks up on things quickly, he loves to help his siblings whenever they need it and has the biggest heart. He has taught us so much about love, patience, and understanding. He’s come a long way from his digging into candles and smearing wax on the green velvet chairs and drawing on the staircase bannister with permanent marker days 😂. MAJOR progress is happening at the cottage (not be confused with the new flip house 😂)!! A year after we bought it, and after taking a 6 month break because of the pandemic, we’re thisclose to being finished. We stopped by tonight with the kiddos because cabinets were installed today and y’all. We’re in love. The design and of this cottage is so different than anything we’ve done before and it’s coming together exactly how we envisioned it. PJ had an overall feel he wanted this cottage to have and I love seeing his vision come to life. We only have a few more things to check off the to-do list and then this baby is complete.
