Emotional, Epic and Dramatic!

It is midnight.

The house is silent and still. It would be dark, too, were it not for the persistent glow of the computer screen. She sits at the desk, staring intently at the monitor. Her right hand slowly scrolls through the pages, while her left hand absent-mindedly caresses the bundle of warm fur curled up in her lap. Lifting her hand from the mouse, she picks up the can that rests beside her and takes a sip of Diet Coke with a grimace. It is distinctly lacking the hint of lime she craves so. 

Thoughts swirl through her mind as she scrolls further down the page. She is reminded briefly of the open Word document waiting behind her browser. She's always loved putting her thoughts and emotions down on paper, crafting stories and tales in poetry and prose. It soothes her, energises her, keeps her sane. Putting her creations out into the world and seeing people enjoy them was only a bonus. But her latest project would have to wait tonight, as she finds herself unable to tear away from this blog. The Blog. The blog that she reads every day, the one that fills her with so many conflicting feelings, not all ones she much likes to dwell on. This girl was just so wonderful. Hilariously funny, incredibly talented; it seemed the instant her fingers connected with the keyboard, gold flowed out. She didn't need to be reminded that there there was no shortage of talent within own self, but still. But still.
