Took my mod folder out and it was awesome!!
I was getting so frustrated trying to play and having major lag and rendering issues. I decided to take my mod folder out and see what happens. It was beautiful!!!. I of course didn’t use my MacKenzie save. I just played with some random sim family and I actually played the game like I did when I first started playing. I know this isn’t a new revelation to anyone else. It just made me realize that I will have to do a BIG purge when I get home tonight. Everything’s got to go but the necessities for the MacKenzie Family (gonna be hard because my story is based in the 1800′s)
This is a list for me to go by.
~ 2 Skin sets (instead of like 80)
~ 2 contacts
~ 3 Hairs for Rachel, 2 Hairs for Colin and 1 for the rest of the group.
~ 5 or 6 makeup items (shadow, lipstick, nose mask, etc.)
~ Minimal outfits.
~ Decor: only use era appropriate package files but save the modern decor in another file for later use. And use as much EA as I can.
~ Poses: Plan ahead and put what poses I need in and then take out when I’m done.
~ All else: Use the BARE minimum.
Now will I be able to stick with this...doubt it but I’m going to try because I actually want to play this game not just take pictures.
