Since RE_SET is all about comfort and feeling as good as possible there are some limitations within the use of care labels. I do not want 3 broad itching labels irritating against consumers' skin at their thigh or in their neck. Until they eventually cut it out and throw it away and they will be losing the information about how the garment is made, the transparency behind the core business, and the steps consumers need to undermine for the recycling process and the explanation of this particular process. 

So, I did some research into softer labels and how this can be prevented. Found the website EE labels who offer woven labels, which will not itch.

“Woven labels are the core business of EE Labels. The labels are of the best quality and offer the most user-friendliness for your customers. No more tickle labels in the neck if you choose EE Labels.”

They also offer sustainable labels made from recycled yarn or organic cotton. Raw materials are scarce and must remain in the cycle. An ecologically responsible end product therefore also requires an ecologically responsible label.

Product development - Tech pack idea

Told Stella about my idea for the tech pack and that I wanted to make a sort of recipe/ tutorial for each garment since it works with my vision that I want people to be able to make this themselves. Due to this I believe a normal technical drawing wouldn’t really add much to my designs since it is not gonna be put in production. 

Feedback from Stella: 

Really like the idea of a tutorial/ recipe - could be made with a similar setup as the IKEA tutorials as they are very simple and clear what you need to do. 

Do not need to have a full technical drawing if it doesn’t add anything, agrees with me that measurements etc are not important for my designs since the tutorials are not made for people to exactly copy it but to more make their own versions of it.

I could just have a combination of either videos of when I show how to do something, a small video in clo (for the weaving), text, a drawing etc. Just chose what type of media works the best for that step. 

Really important to make it fun.

I have to make everything easily understandable so that I can give the tutorial to a stranger and they would know how to do it.
