Oswald continued to shake him. "DOC!" He didn't know what was wrong and that scared him. The rabbit hopped to his feet, rushing away in a panic before returning a minute later with a bucket of paint, which he sloppily dumped over the Doc. Paint had to work, right?
Headcanon #22: Docâs nickname
(( I just realized something. In the first Epic Mickey, The Mad Doctor keeps telling Mickey and Gus not to call him âDoc.â But then in the second game, they call him that all the time and he never says a word about it!Â
So, I was thinking... what if itâs because âDocâ was Oswaldâs nickname for him back when they were friends, and being called by that nickname makes him feel guilty about backstabbing Oswald?Â
And then in EM2, he just lets everyone call him âDocâ because he wants to earn their trust. But what if, every time Oswald calls him âDocâ in EM2, it just gradually fills the Doc with more and more guilt about betraying him again, which ultimately leads to his change of heart at the end of the game?
