Well, we have the language barrier problem, but jakurai really does his best to communicate

English would be a good platform to start, but with the assumption both are terrible at it, they kind of just suffer together

Jakurai actually buys a dictionary for the crushie’s language

He also does the entire DuoLingo course and he actually learns

He practices phrases and stuff in the mirror

When he takes crushie out, he does the entire hand gestures thing and is very patient when they both can’t really understand each other

The way they confess is more of hand gestures than anything, but the message gets there

Actually, Jakurai really does his best to say it in the language, even if his pronunciation is terrible

He’s very fascinated with crush, considering they look super different from him (well like, European vs. Japanese right?)

He loves studying the culture and learning new things since he loves learning

He also listens very intently and always asks for clarification when he doesn’t understand

Usually and always apologises when he misinterprets

He does his best to show them his culture while looking for places that remind crushie of home (like a restaurant that serves their cuisine)

He’s an old man, so he’s just very patient and overall content with trying to make crush happy

But he’s also… kind of a big mess because as someone who’s usually very calm, collected and non-reactive, he has to react so his crush can understand him properly and use all these hand gestures

The BIG issue though...he's very very unknown in America (unless I'm wrong) and when I mean unknown, I really mean he's more popular in his main country than in most of the other countries.

I'm trying to dig down the rabbit hole to learn about him since I'm a curious cat like always.

I feel like every Spring or Summer, I get a new crush and this began sometime the end of April or the beginning of May tbh.

Btw I think he does have a legit YouTube account because I saw from my notifications that he did respond to a comment I put in one of the recent videos he posted. This got me burning up tbh because it's kind of a rarity that I get responses from celebrities, especially with celebrity crushes.
