Went to visit the local Rochester Mycological Association tonight. Paid them a quick visit and paid the yearly dues! After leaving and taking the scenic route back to our side of town, I saw these clusters of Oysters growing from a stump. It was in someone’s yard, they were cutting their grass, and saw us hovering over their stump as if it was a pot of gold. They asked, “Can I help you with something?” “Nope, just checking out these mushrooms!” They looked at us weird said ok, put their ear buds in and left us out fungal worship. They didn’t spray their yard! Hoorah! I’m my experience more urban lawns aren’t however asking is best ;) Glory to the spore! You know folks be drooling and breaking their backs looking and finding Morels this time of year and YES give me all your Morels, but there ain’t nothing like a fresh, wild Oyster Mushroom.
