Or Rousseau traveling to our time, and everyone loses their shit and wants to have him as a guest at intellectual gatherings, but all the dude wants is... well, we know what he wants.
Although probably my fav thing would be to do a fic of Confessions-like passages, but written by Voltaire, for the maximum effect of angering their ghosts and making AO3 truly implode into itself, dragging the rest of the known universe with it.
