Ten years ago the Imperial Fire Nation was destroyed, and it’s royal family with it. Only Iroh, brother of the Fire Lord, survived and fled to Ba Sing Se. Old and alone, Iroh misses his family desperately, so when rumor has it that the last Fire Prince, Zuko, may still be alive, he offers a grand reward for anyone who can find the Prince and bring him home. 

Enter, Sokka. Thief, con-man, and son of Hakoda, former Water Tribe ambassador to the Fire Nation. Sokka, estranged from his sister following their mother’s death, and wanting nothing more than to prove himself to her, enlists the help of Toph, wealthy Earth Kingdom heiress turned Blind Bandit after the fall of the royal families. Together they’re determined to find the lost prince (or at least a good facsimile), and reap the rewards. 

When Sokka comes across Lee, a young man working in a tea shop in the outer Earth Kingdom, everything seems to fall into place. Lee has no memory of his childhood, or where he came from, apart from his fuzzy dreams. The only clue he has is one sentence: Together in Ba Sing Se.
