Timmy doesn't like how they taste. No matter who, how or where they're made, the muffins are all the same to him. It's frustrating because he knows they shouldn't be.

That Souls comic was the first time I drew two girls kissing. It's silly to think about it now, but at the time I was terrified. I was barely out of the closet myself, and still wasn't talking openly about being queer. Nowadays that's all part and parcel, but the Souls comic was the first real step in that direction.

It's also important to me personally because it firmly established Halply's sexuality going forward. Before Karla, I was a lot more on the fence about what to do with her. Afterwards, it was immediately apparent Halply was a lesbian, and that she always kinda had been.
