Chicken nuggets

We did mostly nothing at first, then we went shopping... and I found a thing I could not resist.

Afterwards we went to eat at osteria del cinghiale. They have wild boars in an enclosure, except the boars had other plans and escaped just as we arrived there.

No problem tho, they happily came back when the owner waved a bag of crisps around.

The food was awesome, can absolutely recommend. I had (very small) extremely tasty roasted wood pidgeon with vegetables, and handmade cake. Much gusto.

Yes, I am one of those basic bitches who buys into the hype pretty quick when there’s a new trend I happen to fuck with.

And as a longtime foodie and chocolate addict, I was desperate to be on board with this one. But the first time I tried it, I really wasn’t. It was too fucking messy to eat normally - the pistachio filling got everywhere and I couldn’t break the pieces off cleanly at all.

But then, I popped it into the refrigerator after ordering it again as the packaging recommended. And you all may be wondering, “SAHI, WHY TF DIDN’T YOU DO SO EARLIER???” but that’s because I hate refrigerating my chocolate. 😭 H-A-T-E it. But I was wondering if it’d improve the experience for me.

And it sure as hell did. The chocolate FINALLY had a taste to it and it still dissolved beautifully in my mouth. And the filling was more solid, but still soft and creamy and very well-textured.
